I really cannot understand the many good reviews, I guess it’s just different standards. The food was average as well as the overpriced tea. It is very regular quality but presented as the most innovative Asian Fusion Kitchen. The service is terrible, rude personnel as well as no payment with card possible. And instead of apologizing, they tell you to walk to the next bank. This is just ridiculous, if you can’t afford a card reader then pls just close. Your tea bags are presented so fancy and sound great on the menu but hey, they are just tea bags. Don’t need to go in an “Asian Fusion Kitchen” for that, Aldi tea tastes better.

For me one of the best restaurants in Düsseldorf. Super fresh and delicious Thai / Chinese food WITHOUT flavor enhancers 👍🏼

Delicious Asian food and drinks freshly prepared! The ambience is also cozy, not kitschy! The team is very friendly! You should try the homemade noodles and the beef with vegetables and dark sauce is my favorite, as is the soup with coconut milk ⭐

Very good and authentic food. The Ginger Boy is really worth a visit. The staff is also very nice and accommodating.

The homemade noodles are delicious. You can watch the chef making the noodles and literally throwing them around. The unusual dishes with the equally imaginative names like "Purple Forbidden City" or "Seven Years in Tibet" were delicious.

Yes, I imagined something else. Somehow I felt out of place there. There were i.a. Peking duck beautifully made but I didn't really get there.

Food was very good. Especially the homemade, hand-pulled noodles were great. Will definitely be back when I'm in Düsseldorf again.

Super delicious dishes, good selection and unusual combinations. The tofu was prepared excellently. I will gladly come again. Slightly small outside area, but not represented otherwise. It's best to make a reservation. Choice of drinks also very appropriate. I was completely satisfied.

Eat good. Great service. There is really nothing more to say. There is something for every taste. We sat outside and it wasn't too loud from the street.

June 2020. A small Asian oasis in the middle of Derendorf. A lot has already been written, so I'll be brief here and today. A clear recommendation for friends of this kitchen! It is really delicious! Everything I had tested on the card so far. What many do not know, there is a small terrace and it is wonderfully placed in a niche in front of the restaurant. This restaurant is still a hotspot, so booking a dinner is recommended. Unfortunately, I can only assign 4 stars here, because the price / performance ratio is not entirely consistent in my opinion. There is a star deduction. On average around 15% too expensive. Nevertheless - everyone has a good appetite.

Super delicious, super friendly! The boss in particular is very friendly. The food is really good. Fresh! Shop is very small and it gets stuffy pretty quickly when well visited. Still a real recommendation!

The food here is amazing. Love to come here on a late summer evening to sit outside and eat their delicious dishes. The portions here are very generous also so great value for money. Staff always very friendly and accommodating too. You won't be disappointed.

Good restaurant but I think a bit expensive for this type of cuisine

Wanted to eat here but unfortunately they do only offer cash payment and asked me to go over the atm and get some cash. Sorry, that's not a good service at all! We are living in 2020 almost and I'm - as the costumer - don't want to walk somewhere just to get cash because of the weak service of a restaurant not offering cashless payment. Sorry not sorry! This was my last time at ginger boy.

I went there twice with friends who were vegetarians who said the tofu was very good. And once with my family, they found the entree and bedside table extremely good and the main course mediocre. Personally, I find the main course really good. Also very good homemade pasta.

It is really the best "Asian" - Chinese Thai restaurant completely without flavor enhancers etc. It is incredibly good all fresh and homemade! We go every time extra from Cologne here. Please open a restaurant in Cologne 🙆🏼♀️

Unusual Restaurant, the food is fusion Asian, be aware the portiond are quiete filling. Booking is a must as the place is always busy like hell.moderate prices, mostly younger customers.

what a fuss with fancy menu name! order 2 dishes and they looked and taste the same to me (obviously the same sauce base). I wouldn't call it Asian food (would have been an insult to great variety Asian food out there). on the plus side, staffs are wonderful

We discovered this place by chance as we were looking for park Haus and this place is just adjacent to the park house. But we didn't regret going there. Probably Asian food in Dusseldorf. Service was super fast and friendly. Atmosphere was energetic the place was full of people sharing tables but still very good vibes around. I would recommend to.visit this place.

Fantastic asian restaurant open till late hours. The only weakness is that they do not accept cards but there is and ATM across the road.

Decent food, OK drinks, nice staff. Fresh cut chilli available! However, no card payment facilities, and they gave us the bill for the wrong table so we had to pay twice.

Good in general but they don’t let you pay with credit card. Even if the bill is more than 100€ you have to pay with cash
